LA Rebellion goes 4-2 and wins the Plate at Bingham Cup 2010!
You may have heard the results, but did you know…
- Of the six games the Rebellion played at the Bingham Cup this year, only 6 tries were scored on them during the entire tournament!
- 3 of the 6 teams the Rebellion played during the Bingham Cup were held scoreless!
- We had no significant injuries among any of our players despite playing 6 brutal matches over 3 days (2 matches each day)!
- Among the top tier teams in the tournament, we traveled with only half as many players as did the opposition!
- We were the smallest team (weight wise) among those competing for top honors!
- The Rebellion had its best finish ever at the Bingham Cup!
- We had no ringers on our roster, just Rebellion loyals and players!
- No team in any of the final matches, except the Rebellion, held their opponents scoreless!
